McLaren New Year Parade 2018: An exhilarating McLaren drive to begin a new year

  • McLaren Hong Kong hosted an unrivalled new year celebration with over 40 McLaren cars.
  • A full model line-up from the McLaren Sports and Super Series range including the latest 720S and limited editions of McLaren 675LT, 650S Can-Am and 650S Le Mans were presented.
  • A 26km drive from the metropolitan to the suburbs, McLaren models have demonstrated its capability of daily driving in a comfort yet luxury style.

Hong Kong. On 14 January 2018, McLaren Hong Kong kicked off the year with a great start as they hosted their annual drive event, the McLaren New Year Parade 2018 with the largest group of McLaren owners ever. Over 40 McLaren cars created quite a stunning sight across highways, city and country roads of over 26 kilometers as they travelled in convoy en route from Tsim Sha Tsui in Kowloon to the Hong Kong Gold Coast Hotel in New Territories.

Led by the McLaren 720S and the latest 570S Spider, it was an impressive line up of McLaren supercars. McLaren owners were thrilled to share their passion by participating in the parade. Car enthusiasts were treated to a rare sight of limited editions such as the McLaren 650S Can-Am and 650S Le Mans in Hong Kong as well as the 675LT Coupe and Spider.

Driven by the McLaren DNA derived from uncompromised design and engineering innovation, the latest model of Sport Series, the McLaren 570S Spider was shown for the first time at a McLaren event, bringing the exhilarating experience of open top driving experience to McLaren enthusiasts.  

The parade was ended at the Hong Kong Gold Coast Hotel followed by breakfast and activities of games and lucky draw with all the McLaren owners.
